Rough-and-Ready Group Training Schedule
GRNSA offers this group for all middle & high school swimmers interested in continuing their swimming year round, but either have additional school/work-related time constraints or are involved in another sport. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining endurance and continuing to develop proper technique & balance in the water.
The training focus will be designed specifically around the events and distances that the swimmer are working towards in their Middle School & High School Seasons. Two 105 minute workouts per week are offered. Swimmers in this group will also be expected to compete in all WMSL Dual Meets, Tri-Meets, as well as the WMSL "A" Championships. These meets are FREE to all participants. Workout equipment must consist of goggles, fins, and mesh bag. Swim caps are recommended for swimmers with long hair.
