GRNSA offers this group for all high school swimmers interested in continuing their swimming year round. Emphasis will be placed on improving proper swim technique and skills, as well as building endurance, and increasing aerobic conditioning. Moreover, practices will provide the basics of the sport of swimming such as reading the pace clock, listening to and understanding swim sets, and swim terminology.
Swimmers will make short and long term workout and competition goals. The training focus will be designed specifically around the events and distances that the swimmer are working towards. These goals will be focused towards High School Season and year round USA Swimming seasons. 105 minute workouts are offered five times a week. Workout equipment must consist of goggles, fins, and mesh bag. Swim caps are recommended for swimmers with long hair.
