Moving to Mary Free Bed

Coach Mio was discharged from Spectrum Butterworth Hospital this morning and is now in Room 305 at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Center. He will be staying there for a couple of weeks to work on strengthening his injuries. He requests that everyone keeps swimming and taking care of what we need to at Godwin every day. We hope to see you all at the pool these next few days and please continue to keep Mio in your thoughts and prayers and wish him a speedy recovery.

Coach Mio is in room 4022 of the North building at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital. He was moved out of the intensive care unit late Friday night and is doing much better now. Visiting hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., but try to keep visits brief to avoid overwhelming him and be curtious of the staff's requests when it is time for him to recieve pain medicine or to rest. Accident Update - Wednesday (11:15 p.m.)

All GRNSA Families and Friends,

As many of you have already heard, there was an accident this evening around 2:15 p.m. on 28th St. involving a motorcycle collision with a Rapid Go Bus. Coach Mio Vasic suffered an injury to his knee cap, two broken wrists, and a broken jaw. He was released from surgery around 10:00 p.m. and as far as the doctors know, there was no serious trauma to his head, neck, back, spine or major internal systems.
